With the investments of new machinery the capacity to produce 300.000 kg per month in knitted fabric production, has been achieved. In addition to basic fabrics such as Jersey, terry, pique and fleece, jacquard jersey and jacquard interlock are also added to the range of products. Knitted fabric production experience led İfateks to outerwear production. The first export was made to America as children's outerwear.
The corporate memory in yarn trade has an impact and been effective in initialization of knitted fabric production. The machines for yarn production has been invested. The capacity to produce 100.000 kg raw and painted goods for outerwear importers, has been reached.
Exporting activities of outerwear production to European Markets has been initialized and 100.000 goods per month level has been reached. First sales agreement is signed with Champion Europe which is a current partner in production.
The production process has started for well-known European luxury brands.
The European production license agreement is signed with the Invista Company in regards to Cordura Baselayer, which is a performance fabric with rapid drying out and liquid absorbing features. Cordura Baselayer Fabric which absorbs the moisture rapidly and dries out 2.5 times faster compared to %100 Cotton Fabric, is used in production of police, military, personnel and performance sportsmen uniforms and underwears.
